MHBC introduced The Mainstreet Initiative to 4th year planning students from Ryerson University. The fourth year students known as "DReaM", under the guidance of MHBC and Dr. Zhixi C. Zhuang, began undertaking the critical analysis of the Junction and Mt. Pleasant in Toronto as part of their studio course.
This Fall, students from Ryerson University will take up the challenge to conduct critical analysis of two candidate Mainstreets in Toronto: Mt. Pleasant and The Junction.
